The VF Engineering supercharger system for the BMW E36 M3 is a meticulously designed performance upgrade that significantly boosts power and driving exhilaration for this classic sports car. Featuring precision-crafted components, the kit integrates seamlessly with the E36 M3’s existing engine setup. Its state-of-the-art water-cooled design ensures consistent performance by maintaining optimal operating temperatures, making it ideal for both spirited driving and track sessions. A key highlight of the system is the Vortech V3 Si-Trim self-contained supercharger, mounted on a CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum bracket system triangulated to the block. Positioned in line with the original serpentine belt, the supercharger utilizes a longer OEM belt while retaining the fully functional OEM active-spring belt tensioner, eliminating belt slip and the need for manual tensioning. Custom-molded polypropylene plastic air ducts provide an OEM appearance, quality, and fit. The incorporated Bosch boost overrun system ensures smooth off-throttle cruising and deceleration with clean emissions.
