The VF Engineering supercharger system for the BMW Z3M is an expertly engineered performance upgrade that delivers a remarkable increase in power and driving excitement to this iconic roadster. Designed with precision, this kit includes state-of-the-art components that integrate seamlessly with the Z3M’s existing engine setup. At the heart of the system is the Vortech V3 Si-Trim self-contained supercharger, mounted on a robust CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum bracket system.

functional performance

This supercharger, positioned in line with the original serpentine belt and utilizing an OEM belt, retains the fully functional OEM active-spring belt tensioner to eliminate belt slip and the need for manual tensioning. The water-cooled design ensures consistent performance by maintaining optimal operating temperatures, making it ideal for both spirited driving and track sessions. Custom-molded polypropylene plastic air ducts provide an OEM appearance and fit, while the Bosch boost overrun system ensures smooth off-throttle cruising and deceleration.
