Software tuning provided is designed around the stock vehicle. Any major changes in airflow components such as high flow cats or enlarged throttle body diameters may require custom tuning optimization which VF does not include or provide.

    Porsche 992.1 911 Carrera / GTS / GT3 / Turbo (S) ('18 - Present)

     

    VF Engineering is excited release our HEX Tuning ECU Software for 992.1 Carrera, GT3, and Turbo models. The ECU programming or “flashing” is done directly through the OBDii port and is meant to be end user installable, utilizing a Windows PC and the included HEX Flash cable. Top speed limiter removed along with mid-range horsepower and torque gains.

     

    HEX Tuning ECU Software for your Porsche is expertly calibrated and extensively dyno tested to provide increased Horsepower and Torque with improved throttle response and control, all while preserving OEM like drivability and reliability. This is made possible based on our own validation process which allows us to collect data from the dynamometer as well as on the road while utilizing advanced data logging software to monitor critical aspects of both performance and safety operations within the DME.

REQUIRES PROFESSIONAL BENCH FLASHING

With modern automotive technology, gone are the days of “chipping” (or physically modifying the vehicles ECU) but there are still some instances where the ECU must be removed from the vehicle in order to enable flashing capabilities. For this application HEX Tuning will require the vehicle to be present at our Anaheim, CA facility, or for your ECU to be mailed in to our offices. Once received the ECU is then professionally opened in order to be put into boot mode so it can then be programmed with our own proprietary performance calibrations.

All ECU’s are processed and turned around within 24-business hours from the time they are received. VF Engineering will provide complimentary UPS Ground Return Shipping or you can request faster shipping for a cost.
